To prepare for a short meditation, sit with your back as straight as is comfortable, supported by the back of your chair, with your feet flat on the floor.
Open your heart area, close your eyes or soften your gaze, and begin to relax.
Take a few deep breaths, filling your lungs with air. As you slowly exhale, relax your entire body as deeply and completely as you can. Let yourself melt into the chair.
Allow the healing flow of your breath to soothe and dissolve any pain, any fear, any preoccupations that may exist in your mind. Bathe in the smooth flow of your inhalations and exhalations.
Allow your breath to heal you.
Let go. Let go of everything. Let the whole conglomeration drop.
In this silence, let yourself experience the presence of Pure Being. Immerse yourself in it. Saturate yourself in its flow.
